Nice to be back on the Norfolk Broads today after the long 3 month lay off due to the close season, out with old friend and client Colin which made the day even more special. The weather was pretty fair, overcast with drizzle to start and then blazing sun and 21c for most of the late morning and afternoon. River was pretty coloured in places and crystal clear in other areas but the fish responded positively enough to keep us busy for the most part of the day. Eleven fish boated to mid doubles on all types of lures from surface down, plus quite a few hitters and drops – all the fish scrapped really well as you would expect but were pretty lean from the picture below.
